Gillside is a working lakeland farm ideally located on the edge of Glenridding by Ullswater at the foot of Helvellyn in the Lake District. The ideal location for camping and caravan holidays in the Lakes.


Glenridding is home to a good range of local shops, the National Park Tourist Information Centre, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as a local garage. The nearest pub to Gillside is the Travellers Rest, just a 5 minute walk away. Nearby Patterdale also has a post office and pub. Ullswater offers a range of activities, from cruising with world famous Ullswater Steamers to sailing, kayaking and even swimming.
